2023 Year in Review

Celebrating Milestones and Shared Success

As we approach 2024, let’s take some time to reflect on our shared accomplishments and look forward to even more significant successes in the coming year.

Over the past year, our joint endeavors have been focused on shaping a secure tomorrow, driven by the collective strength of the global cybersecurity community.  At the turn of 2023, SOC Prime launched The Prime Hunt, an open-source LGPL browser extension acting as the industry-first platform-agnostic UI for all threat hunters designed to simplify and speed up the investigation process regardless of the SIEM or EDR in use. 

In 2023, you witnessed the public release of Uncoder AI and Attack Detective, our state-of-the-art solutions for proactive threat-informed defense launched as part of SOC Prime’s SaaS Platform. Later in the year, you also shared in our excitement during the launch of the open-source Uncoder IO and Roota, a public-domain language for collective cyber defense.

Along with other 2023 SOC Prime Platform enhancements, we’ve added a brand-new Threat Detection Marketplace capability that enables creating custom repositories for Detection-as-Code projects linked to MITRE ATT&CK®, as well as saving and managing any rules and queries supported by the SOC Prime Platform in a separate encrypted storage to boost the use case management lifecycle. To drive a transformational change in cybersecurity, SOC Prime established an integration with Amazon Security Lake enabling security teams to gain complete threat visibility and boost cyber defense capabilities at scale while saving development time with reusable rules & queries automatically convertible to Athena and OpenSearch in OCSF format.

To ensure that our users rely on best-in-class security services following trust, transparency, and privacy imperative, SOC Prime has successfully accomplished the Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type II auditing procedure for the third year in a row.

In 2023, we also introduced our Discord community, connecting aspiring cybersecurity enthusiasts and seasoned experts in a single space to make the most of shared expertise.
