About the Role

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Manage a sales territory and corresponding quota.
  • Drive the implementation of effective Sales strategies and policies.
  • Implement strategic sales activities. Provide regular updates to CEO and CFO.
  • Research and analyze environmental and competitive conditions, customer needs, and market trends. Recommend strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and ensure strategic sales plans complement market place needs.
  • Ensure sales activities are cost effective, efficient, and are performed within established budget constraints.
  • Monitor competitorā€™s prices, market price sensitivity and create effective pricing strategies.
  • Provide recommendations for improvements in sales and service delivery, programs, and procedures.
  • Ensure existing customers are serviced in accordance with Company standards and policies.
  • Develop strong relationships with all customers, trade professionals, and external contacts.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with Companyā€™s internal departments and teams.
  • Attend industry trade shows, professional meetings and seminars.
  • Keep up-to-date on industry, market, product, and technology trends
  • Drive the implementation of effective Sales strategies and policies.
  • Implement strategic sales activities.
  • Lead account penetration strategy to generate new business growth and add to our portfolio of clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers across all accounts.
  • Identify customer requirements, and influence strategic direction and buying decisions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects/customers to support their needs.
  • Work effectively with other team members and throughout the organization.
  • Conduct highly effective presentations to all levels in organizations.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies that maximize SOC Primeā€™’s opportunities within customer environments.
  • Perform high level sales planning, leading to accurate forecasting of the business.
  • Build relationships with and sell through channel partners.
  • Manage, educate and develop Sales team.
  • Some travel is required.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • BA/BS technical degree or equivalent.
  • Have track selling to fortune 1000 customers.
  • Multiple years of above quota sales experience.
  • Prior experience selling network infrastructure based security appliances .
  • Practical knowledge of products and technologies relevant to SOC Primeā€™s products.
  • Self-motivated to deliver above sales goals.
  • Strong communication.
  • Strong presentation skills both internally and externally.
  • Sales experience with an actionable rolodex of decision makers.
  • Very strong organizational skills.
  • Experience working with Channel partners and understanding of a channel centric go to market approach as that part of the Corelight sales strategy evolves.
  • Above average technical skills for a account executive.
