Head of PRE-SALES ENGINEERING

About the Role

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the pre-sales engineering team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to drive technical excellence and customer success.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and tailor migration strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, product development, and customer success teams to develop and execute comprehensive pre-sales strategies.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their technical requirements and challenges, and recommending tailored solutions to meet their needs.
• Lead the development and delivery of technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts to showcase the value proposition of our products and services.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive developments, and emerging technologies to inform product strategy and positioning.
• Analyze customer feedback and market data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, driving continuous innovation and enhancement of our solutions.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in pre-sales or technical sales roles, with a focus on cybersecurity or related technology solutions.
• Proven track record of success in leading pre-sales engineering teams and driving technical aspects of the sales process.
• Strong technical expertise in cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for driving customer success.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
