Account Executive – Eastern US (Remote, Full-Time)

About the Role

As an Account Executive, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and building lasting customer relationships at SOC Prime. This position blends strategic territory development, consultative selling, and full-cycle account management to ensure customer success while expanding our presence in the market. You will serve as a trusted advisor, project manager, and product expert—helping customers achieve measurable security outcomes while contributing to the continuous improvement of our sales best practices.

The ideal candidate is confident engaging with both executive-level stakeholders and hands-on security practitioners across a wide range of industries. Prior experience as an Account Executive within the cybersecurity industry is strongly required.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close for enterprise customers within an assigned territory.
  • Build, develop, and maintain a strong pipeline through outbound prospecting, inbound leads, and partner collaboration.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand customer pain points, security challenges, and business objectives.
  • Deliver product presentations and demos tailored to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive new business and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers by aligning solutions with their security and business needs.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure successful deal execution and long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts to close deals efficiently and within company guidelines.
  • Accurately forecast sales activity and maintain up-to-date records in CRM 
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
  • Work with alliance and channel partners across the territory 

 

Qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience as an Account Executive selling cybersecurity products or solutions to large organizations
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Strong understanding of the security operations teams(SOC) and how they function. Experience working with technologies such as SIEM, SOAR, ETLs, Data Lakes and other SOC tooling
  • Experience selling to enterprise customers in a startup environment
  • Ability to engage effectively with both C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong discovery and consultative selling skills.
  • Highly organized with strong time management and pipeline management abilities.
  • Experience working with CRM systems
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • US Citizenship required
